This metal bank is a detailed model of a 1935 Ford Taxi that was put out as advertising for the Albuquerque National Bank in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It measures 6" long by 2-3/4" wide and 2-3/4" high. This bank is a part of a series produced by Banthrico, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois in the late 1950s for various businesses, mostly banks and savings institutions. The slot is not the key-type but rather a lid-type that pops out without need for a key. The bank is in excellent condition with no dents, discoloration or repairs. It comes with its original box which is in excellent condition with only minor wear. I am asking $17.50 plus shipping.
